Netball
Waterway Primary Netball empowers girls to master tactical gameplay, agility, and teamwork while building resilience, leadership, and sportsmanship through the sport.
Waterway Primary Netball offers students an exciting, fast-paced environment to develop physical agility, strategic thinking, and strong court play through specialized position training and tactical drills. Beyond fitness, the sport sharpens key 21st Century Competencies like effective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration.
The CCA places a strong emphasis on character and leadership development. Mentored to lead as team captains and CCA leaders, students build confidence, accountability, and decision-making skills while internalizing core values of respect, empathy, and good sportsmanship. Navigating the high-energy demands of the game cultivates lasting resilience and a positive growth mindset.
Players experience strong camaraderie and competitive growth through friendly matches, local sports carnivals, and the opportunity to represent the school in the National School Games Netball Championships. Working together on and off the court equips netballers with the teamwork and confidence needed to face future challenges.
