Taekwondo
Waterway Primary Taekwondo empowers students to master dynamic martial arts techniques and excel in regular training, quarterly belt gradings, competitions and performances.
Students leap into a world of physical fitness and mental fortitude in Waterway Primary Taekwondo, where they master dynamic kicks, traditional patterns, and disciplined martial arts techniques. Growth here is filled with exciting milestones, from progressing through the quarterly belt grading system to testing their skills at the prestigious National School Games. Rooted deeply in character building, this active program naturally instills the exceptional self-discipline, tactical critical thinking, and mental resilience and focus that help children thrive in all aspects of life.
Taekwondo is a high-energy martial art that focuses equally on physical fitness, lightning-fast agility, and unshakable mental fortitude.
In a safe, structured, and highly disciplined environment, students learn fundamental blocks, dynamic kicks, and traditional patterns (Poomsae), progressing steadily through our rigorous belt grading system. Our practitioners test their mettle at the National School Games (NSG) Taekwondo Championships and during their quarterly grading assessments.
Deeply rooted in character building, taekwondo demands the utmost self-discipline, integrity, and respect for both instructors and peers. Students develop sharp critical thinking during tactical sparring, learn to set ambitious long-term goals, and exhibit remarkable resilience as they overcome physical challenges.
